Purpose
To help leaders of new and existing teams to understand the skills, techniques
and behaviours necessary to turn a group of individuals into a team capable
of achieving it’s full potential.
Duration
Two intensive days from 9.30 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
Content
At the end of the programme delegates will be able to: -

the characteristics of high performing teams; |

Develop
a clear vision, purpose statement and performance objectives for their
team; |

Make
the most of their own leadership style to build trust, respect and
credibility; |

Recognise
the skills needed to facilitate good teamwork and enable high quality
meetings; |

Identify
how to accept, value and work with the different personalities, styles
and experience of team members; |

Help
develop values and ground rules that can enable good teamwork; |

Utilise
methods of team performance review and planning. |
Our Approach to Learning
The programme involves a balance of input, discussion and team activities
to aid experiential learning. Delegates are able to experience team working
techniques designed to help them with the real performance challenges
and issues they face. Comprehensive notes are provided together with a
free, confidential telephone advice line to help in the application of
learning back at work.
Booking Information
£350.00 + VAT per delegate. Fee includes all material, lunch and
refreshments. Telephone advice line available free of charge for twelve
weeks after the programme.
